Obituary for Steven Wurst
Steven Michael Wurst, 47, of Pittsburgh, PA formerly of Erie, passed away on Tuesday, December 7, 2021.
He was born in Erie, PA on May 26, 1974, a son of Stephen and Laura (Holden) Manross.
Steven attended Girard High School and found an interest in technology. He was a hard worker his entire life, but had recently found passion in a career as an electronic repairman. He really enjoyed building computers. Steven was a fun-loving guy, he was selfless, supportive, funny, and sometimes stubborn. He was always helping others, even if it was just an ear to listen. Steven enjoyed video games, tattoos, motorcycles, cars, and watching movies. Steven battled many health issues over his lifetime, but he still put others first no matter what he was going through. He was a supportive and loving father and would do anything for his kids.
He is preceded in death by his half-brother, Peter Wincentsen.
In addition to his parents, Steven is survived by his son, Alex Wurst (Katie), daughter, Tabitha Griffin (Sean), son, Bryce Wurst, brother, Jason Wurst (Jill), niece and nephew, Kalia and Kane Wurst. Many cousins also survive.
Friends may call on Saturday at the Kloecker Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 2502 Sassafras St. Erie, PA 16502 from 2 pm until the time of the Funeral Service at 6 pm. Burial will be on Sunday at 12 pm at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Send condolences to www.kloeckerfuneralhome.com
