Obituary for Shawn Glover

Shawn Edward Glover, 37, of Hermitage, PA passed away on Monday, April 12, 2021.

He was born in Erie on October 3, 1983, a son of Mary Glover and Vernon Edward Overton.

Shawn was a loving soulmate, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He was loved by every person who had the pleasure of meeting him. Shawn was a resourceful and independent man, he would do anything for family. He had a great love for his animals, his four dogs, two cats, and his chickens that he raised. Shawn loved children and helping those with special needs. Shawn worked for Speedy Furniture of Grove City, Hermitage, and Cranberry and made new friends every day. Through his work, he often reached many with special needs setting up furniture and bringing comfort to all he worked for and enjoyed meeting his customers. Everyone who knew Shawn knew he was the life of the party. He was spontaneous, often called the “Dance Machine”, he always said there ain’t no sad party if he was there. Shawn could put a smile on everyone’s face, making it hard to be mad at him for long. Most of all, Shawn was very proud of the life he built with his soulmate, Wayne. He worked so hard for all of his accomplishments, purchasing a home and building a business with Wayne. He enjoyed traveling, bingo, and following fashion. In a short 37 years, Shawn sure did live his life to the absolute fullest.

Shawn is preceded in death by his grandmother, Ernestine Glover and grandfather, Lucius Glover.

He is survived by the love of his life and soulmate, Wayne Worden, his mother, Mary Glover, his father, Vernon E.
