Obituary for Scott Wilkinson

Scott G. Wilkinson, age 56, passed away on October 16, 2022 with his beloved older son Kyle and his loving wife Kim beside him at UPMC hospital. He was born on March 4, 1966, a son of the late Richard and Marcella Jeffries Wilkinson. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Scott was a member of Table Of Grace Church in Erie, formerly known as Simpson United Methodist, where he met and married his wife Kimberly Akers Wilkinson on July 27, 2013.

Scott especially loved spending time with his family and friends, the outdoors, anything iron maiden, and almost anything when it came to history. He attended Edinboro University where he studied history. Scott had a big heart as well as being a loving father to his own children. Scott and his wife Kim fostered many children through the foster system here in Erie, PA., with families United. He worked full-time at Urick, until complications due to past Covid history. He will be truly missed by many.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his grandparents George and Nellie Wilkinson, and Taylor and Delia Jeffries, and his sister Janet Wilkinson.

Scott leaves behind his wife Kimberly, two sons Kyle Wilkinson (Kayla) of Pittsburgh, and Hayden Wilkinson, four daughters McKenize, Ava, Anna, and Madison, mother-in-law Marilyn Akers of Erie, Granddaughter Ivy Wilkinson, sister Connie Lafaver Hutt (Gary), and a brother Dale (Joyce) Wilkinson. Scott also had many friends and family that were like brothers and sisters to him that he loved dearly, that will Truly miss him. One in particular Was Scott Prindle (Michelle).

Friends may call on Friday, October 21, at the Kloecker Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 2502 Sassafras St. from 3pm until 7pm, and are invited to the Funeral Service the following morning at 10am at Table of Grace Church 2113 Sassafras St. Burial will follow at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
