Obituary for Patrick Hynes
Patrick Christopher Hynes, 70, Of Erie, PA passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2021 from pneumonia complications. Born in Erie on October 23, 1951, he was a son of the late John and Mary (Gannon) Hynes, both of Erie.
To know Chris was to love him. He had many health challenges in life and he faced them all in a positive manner. From his loving parents, religion was instilled at a very young age. Chris said his rosary every day, and attended Mass. Chris enjoyed many things in life, his favorite tv programs and short wave electronics. He was always up for a good game of bingo with friends. He was interested in what others were doing, especially family, and was happy to hear good things about them. He will always be remembered for his positive motivation as we celebrate his life.
Chris is survived by his brother, John Hynes and his sister, Mary Hintenach; nieces, nephews, many loved cousins and friends.
Family will receive friends at Kloecker Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 2502 Sassafras Street on Friday from 5 pm to 7 pm and may attend the Funeral Mass on Saturday at 10 am at St. Andrews Church. Burial will be at Trinity Cemetery. Send condolences to www.kloeckerfuneralhome.com.
