Obituary for Patricia Drake
Patricia A. Drake, age 86, of Ellenton, FL (formerly of Erie, PA) passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2022. She was born in Dunkirk, NY., on March 12, 1936, a daughter of the late John and Lauretta Dietz Green.
Patricia was a 1954 graduate of East High School. She then worked at the Hammermill Paper Company for over 20 years as the Risk Management Supervisor. She was a member of various organizations including the East High Alumni Association, the Irish Cultural Society Erie Company (serving as Secretary), the Erie Yacht Club (Erie, PA), Elks Club (Erie, PA), and the Moose Club (Palmetto, FL). She was also a member of St. George Church (Erie, PA), and Holy Cross Church (Palmetto, FL). She also worked at the Hammermill Federal Credit Union, and she volunteered for the Erie Hot Line.
Besides her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her husband George Drake, a brother, James Green (Noreen), two sisters, Marion Green, and Norma Green Heberle (Paul), and a son-in-law, Walter Miller.
She is survived by her loving companion, Robert Vomero, her children, Diane Drake, Natalie Miller (Drake) sister, Laurie Green Gingrich (Rich), as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends may call on Thursday, August 11, at the Kloecker Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. from 2-4pm and again from 6-8pm and are invited to the Funeral Mass the following morning, Friday August 12, at 10:00 a.m. at Saint George Church.
