Obituary for Michael DeFoy
Michael A. DeFoy (Mike), Age 54 passed away Thursday November 10th 2022 at AHN St. Vincent Hospital.
He was born May 13th 1968 in Erie, PA. Mike was an auto detailer for over 30 years and once owned and operated his own company, Deluxe Detailing Services. Along with fishing and music, he enjoyed weightlifting and devoted many years at the gym working out.
Mike battled fiercely with end stage renal disease for over eight years, while also receiving dialysis several times per week. Mike was a very strong willed person who had an incredibly kind heart. He will always hold a place in our heart and be sadly missed.
He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren and hanging out with his daughter who he always referred to as “his princess”.
Mike is survived by his three children who he loved so deeply Michael DeFoy (Megan), Brandon DeFoy (Stephanie) and Abrianna DeFoy. Also, his grandchildren, Brantley DeFoy, Mabel DeFoy, Milana DeFoy and Maisey DeFoy that he adored and cherished. The Mothers’ of his children Michelle Lichtenberger, who always remained a very close friend to him and Tina Porfilio Brutto and her family, who he considered his own. His Cousin, Tricia DiBello who was also his best friend, along with his mother, siblings, and many nieces and nephews.
The family would also like to extend thanks to Joseph Brutto for trying to donate his kidney to save his life.
