Obituary for Mary Ann Ross (Brown)

Mary Ann (Brown) Ross, age 70, of Erie, passed away on Friday, March 25, 2022.

She was born in Erie on August 17, 1951 a daughter of the late Walter and Ruth Weber Brown.

Mary Ann enjoyed children, bowling in the mixed couples league at South Erie Turners, babysitting, the casino and volunteering at the Vets Hospital Bingo for Patients. She loved socializing with friends and was a member of the Siebenbuerger Ladies Auxiliary, American Legion 773 Auxiliary and past board member of the Sacred Heart Ushers Club. She was a life member of the South Erie Turners and past President of its ladies’ auxiliary, a life member of the Knights of St. John, a Life member and past President of the VFW 470 Ladies Auxiliary and past President of the VFW 28th District of Pennsylvania Ladies Auxiliary.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Warren “Al” Ross in 2020.

She is survived by her sister, Cheryl Pitto (Dave) of Erie, two brothers, Robert Brown (Madonna) of Masury, OH and Wally Brown (Shelly) of Erie, a step-daughter, Sandra Cornman of Erie, an uncle, Phil Weber (Mary) of White Deer, PA and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may call on Saturday, April 2, at the Kloecker Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc from 10 am until the time of the service at 11:45 am followed by the Funeral Mass at Blessed Sacrament Church at 12:30 pm. Send condolences to www.kloeckerfuneralhome.com

Burial will be private in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
