Obituary for Luis Tyler Grove

It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the death of our son, Tyler. Luis “TYLER” Grove passed away Friday, July 29, 2022 at the age of 29. Born April 26, 1993 the son of Carrie Foley and Luis Grove.

Tyler led a colorful life and lived his life on his terms. He was sure to catch your eye with his charming smile and charismatic personality. He was an incredibly loving and kind soul who enjoyed football and basketball, good music and spending time with family and friends. He truly brought the life to the party with his entertaining stories and sense of humor. Tyler was a very loyal friend to all. He loved his son Louie with all his heart and had an incredible bond with his mother or as he would call her his Mookie. Tyler had many difficulties in his life and tried really hard during his short lifetime to do the right thing. He leaves us with a huge hole in our hearts, he will be missed but we are grateful for the time God gave us with him.

Tyler was proceeded in death by his infant niece Lola, and uncle Pedro Negron.

Tyler is survived by his son Luis “Louie” Tyler Grove Jr.; his mother Carrie Foley, and father Luis Grove (Catherine); brothers and sisters Alyssa Wingard (Cameron), Brandon Foley, LuisaBella, Daniela and Christina Grove, and Timothy Trejo; maternal grandparents John and Barbara Vahey; paternal grandparents Roger and Betty Irwin; nephews Levi and Lenny Wingard; aunts and uncles Donna Samol (Terry), Jack Vahey (Alicia), Bobby Vahey (Julie), Mary Aldrete (Poncho), Roger Irwin, Paula Negron-DelRio and Ceilia Negron-Stewart; cousins Alex, Mikaela, Brenna, Benjamin, Vanessa, Lucy, Austin and Leland; and his special friend and Louie’s mother Kayla Perdue.

Tyler also leaves behind many extended family members and good friends.

Friends may call on Monday, August 8, 2022 at St. Luke Church from 9:30 am until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:30 am. Burial will be private.
