Obituary for Kelly Mayhue
Kelly J. Mayhue, 51, of Erie, passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2019.
She was born in Erie on December 30, 1967, the daughter of Gayle Dietzel Matthis and the late Frederick Matthis.
Kelly was a tremendous person, she was always giving to others especially her family members. She also loved and cared for all types of animals. Kelly was a former member of the Federated Church in East Springfield, PA and participated in the choir, often singing at weddings. She loved riding horses and would volunteer at WLD Ranch. She also enjoyed dancing and volunteering at Ashley Dimarco’s Dance Academy. She had a love for the outdoors and enjoyed camping. Above all, her children, Rebecca and Michael, were her whole world. She was so proud of every accomplishment they achieved and was their biggest support.
Kelly is survived by her children, Michael Mayhue and Rebecca Mayhue (Mike Mele), her mother, Gayle Dietzel Matthis, great-grandmother, Marian Dietzel, siblings, Kenneth Matthis, Ronald Matthis (Regina Kleckner), Sherry Fish (Richard), and Patrick Matthis, her beloved pets, and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews also survive.
Friends may call on Wednesday at the Kloecker Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. from 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm and are invited to the Funeral Service there on Thursday at 11 am. Burial will take place at Erie County Memorial Gardens. Send condolences to www.kloeckerfuneralhome.com
