Obituary for Joseph Holden Sr.
Joseph (Joe) M Holden Sr (74), passed away on April 15, 2023 after an illness.
Joe was born on June 20, 1948 to Edward and Josephine Holden (Pezzino) in Erie. He attended Strong Vincent High School and later went on to join the US Coast Guard where he was a Seaman Fireman . While enlisted, Joe earned a National Defense Service Medal. After his time in the Coast Guard, Joe went to work for Truck and Trailer Equipment for 35 years before retiring to spend his time fishing and enjoying his many “grandchildren”.
Joe is survived by his loving wife Pamela (Adams) Holden, his son Joseph Jr (Vince Donofrio) of Pittsburgh, many brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Joe was predeceased in death by his daughter Tracy, as well as several brothers and sisters.
There are no services planned, as Joe did not wish to have services. The Kloecker Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. is in charge of the arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, you may donate to the Alzheimer’s Association in Joe’s name.
