Obituary for Joanne Murzynski (Baroth)
Joanne (Baroth) Weaver Murzynski, 84, of Erie, passed away on Wednesday, April 14, 20201 at St. Mary's Home East.
She was born on August 29, 1936, a daughter of the late, Leo F. and Mary (Aniszkiewicz) Baroth.
She attended St. Joseph Grade School and then graduated from Academy High School in 1954. Joanne attended Erie School District to receive her Licensed Practical Nurse diploma. She worked at Saint Vincent Health Center for ten years before retiring at Erie VA Hospital in 1996. Joanne was a member of the Trinity Club and the Siebenbuerger Club. She was a member of St. George Church and their rosary society.
In addition to her parents, Joanne is preceded in death by her first husband, Paul Weaver, her second husband, Richard Z. Murzynski, a brother, Leo Baroth, and a step-son, Roy Murzynski.
She is survived by her children, Rebecca Bernat (Anthony), Patrick Weaver (Brenda), and Heidi Royer (Patrick), step-daughter, Christine Wright, ten grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchild, one sister, Janice Komar (Frank), and one brother, Donald Baroth (Donna).
Friends may call at St. George Church 5145 Peach Street Erie, PA 16509 on Monday from 10am until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11 am. Burial will be private at Calvary Cemetery.
