Obituary for Lynn Correll Stanbro
Lynn Stanbro, age 62, passed away surrounded by her family on Thursday, June 17, 2021 at her summer home in Erie, PA after a five year battle with early onset Alzheimer’s.
Lynn was born on June 7, 1959 in Tampa, FL. She graduated from Robinson High School and remained in the Tampa area. Lynn joined the Tampa Police Department and retired as a detective after 20 years of service.
Lynn is survived by her husband Chuck, daughter Rachel, son-in-law Dan and a grandson who is due to be born in September of 2021. She was preceded in death by her brother Jimmy and father James Correll.
Lynn enjoyed traveling, exercising and spending time with her family. She loved sports and proudly supported the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Rays and Lightning. Lynn was an avid animal lover and could never be found too far from her dogs, Abby and Maggie. Lynn had a bright and witty personality and a generous heart.
Lynn requested to be laid to rest privately at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery in Erie, Pa. The Kloecker Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. is handling the arrangements. Send condolences to www.kloeckerfuneralhome.com.
