Obituary for Eileen Reed (Fitzgerald)
Eileen A. (Fitzgerald) Reed, 89, of Erie, PA, passed away on Saturday, December 25, 2021.
She was born in Erie on March 9, 1932, a daughter of the late, Raymond and Marie Fitzgerald.
She was a loving mother and housewife who enjoyed spending time with all of her family.She also enjoyed playing cards in her spare time , especially with a neighborhood card club.
In addition to her parents, Eileen is preceded in death by her husband, William A. Reed, infant son, Scott Reed, brother, Raymond Fitzgerald Jr., and sisters, Rita Williams and Mary Bronson.
She is survived by her two daughters, Lynn Riesdorph (Tom) and Darlene Brandt (Randy), three sons, Francis Reed (Laura), John Reed (Patty), and William Reed (Nicole), ten grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may call on Thursday at the Kloecker Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 2502 Sassafras St. Erie, PA 16502 from 3pm until the time of the service at 7pm. Burial will be private. Send condolences to www.kloeckerfuneralhome.com. The family is requesting that visitors please wear a mask.
