Obituary for Donna Delinski (Eisweirth)

Donna Mae Eisweirth Delinski, age 92, passed over to be with the Lord on August 3, 2022.

She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Maude Cleaver Eisweirth.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ted and son Paul, daughter-in-law Danean Delinski, siblings Virginia Vieth, Ruth Angelo Robbins and Joe Eisweirth and her gentleman friend of 28 years Chuck Chervanka.

She is survived by her natural and spiritual children Laura and Brian Delinski and Sarah Osborne, 10 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and loyal friends. Her influence on those she met and loved was significant. She was sharp and witty, with an extravagant personality and fun-loving spirit. A real people person. She wrote the Social Column while at Harborcreek High School in the 1940’s. She loved music and dancing even up to last year dancing in her wheelchair at her grandson, Mathew’s, wedding. Donna accomplished much. She worked at GE, Jacob Haller Co. sold Avon and appliances at Arthur F. Schultz. She loved gardening, dabbled in painting, wrote poetry and loved words. She was an honorary Erie Clown and paraded as Fiesty on occasion. She marched for life in Washington, DC and worked the pro-life booth at the County Fairs. She taught Christian education to youth at Mt. Calvary. She was known as “Nana loves me” to her family. In her latter years, being a faithful witness to Jesus as her Lord and Savior was of fore most importance to her. She attended St. Joseph Church/Bread of Life Community and grew in the Word of God in many Bible studies and churches over the years. She is very much missed and loved.
