Obituary for Corey Loomis
Corey Gordon Loomis passed away March 2, 2022, while sleeping peacefully in his home after a long battle with an extended illness.
A resident of Erie, PA, born March 18, 1959, Corey was a master painter by trade, a huge sports fan, and an avid golfer who loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He was a great lover of life, music, nature, family, and friends.
Corey was preceded in death by his parents Paul M. Loomis and Joann Sexton Loomis, and his beloved siblings Rebecca Ann Loomis, Paula Marie Loomis, Chris Loomis, Eric Loomis, and Kim Loomis.
He is survived by his wife, Donna (Olson), son, Garrick Loomis, daughters, Rebecca Bardun and Jennifer Lewis, six grandchildren, his brothe,r Michael Loomis, and cousins, Scott Loomis and Deb Matson, along with lots of nieces and nephews, and great friends.
Corey always had a great sense of humor, and he will be truly missed by all that knew and loved him. Rest in Peace.
