Beloved Wife, Mother, Sister, Daughter, Aunt, and Sister-in-law
Christie Lynn (Ingro) Hellmann, 48, of Erie, PA, passed away suddenly from Breast Cancer on December 16, 2021.
She was born in Erie on April 7, 1973, a daughter of Thomas D. Ingro and the late Patricia (Cowan) Ingro.
After graduating from high school, she worked with her mother at Hanes Erie for a short time. She married Matthew S. Hellmann on November 10, 2001, and just celebrated their 20th Anniversary. Her favorite job in life was being a stay at home mom to her son, Nathan. Christie was a compassionate women, she was selfless, always putting others needs before her own. She loved arts and crafts, collecting, going to auctions, fishing, long car rides, and watching the sun set. She loved being outdoors and spending time gardening, admiring her flowers. Christie loved life and her laugh always brightened up the room. She will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.
In addition to her mother, Christie is preceded in death by her niece, Sierra Meola, and her father-in-law, Paul F. Hellmann, Sr.
She is survived by her husband, Matthew S. Hellmann, her son, Nathan M. Hellmann (Kelley McKnight), father, Thomas Ingro (Dot Kennedy), brother, Thomas P. Ingro (Leah), sister, Amy Meola (Rob), nieces and nephews, Thomas A. Ingro, Brandon Meola, Xavier Meola, Ryan Ingro, Angelina Meola, Desiree Meola, Jasmine Crosby (Dorian), Joshua Meola, Roman Meola, and Katelyn Ingro, and mother-in-law, Norma Hellmann. Many aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.
