Obituary for Christene M. Trojanovich Pilkinton
Christene “Sophie” “Sissy” M. Trojanovich Pilkinton, 39, of Erie passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2022 from Covid-19.
She was born in Erie on May 6, 1982, the daughter of Robert Sr. and Dawn (Lata) Trojanovich.
Christene was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, and aunt. She was an avid Green Bay Packer’s fan. Christene loved crafting and going to garage sales. Most importantly she loved being a mother and caring for her family. She was loved by her nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert J. Trojanovich Jr. her beloved dog, Babe, and many aunts and uncles.
In addition to her parents, Christene is survived by her husband, Charles Pilkinton, daughter, Lita Egloff (Noah), an expecting grandchild, her brothers, Matthew Trojanovich and Andrew Trojanovich (Andrew Myers), mother-in-law, Rhonda and Ed Slocum, and brother-in-law, Justin Pellen.
Friends may call on Tuesday at the Kloecker Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 2502 Sassafras Street Erie, PA 16502 from 4 pm until 8 pm. The graveside service will be held on Wednesday at Mount of Olives Cemetery at 10 am.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Kloecker Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. to help with the funeral arrangements.
