Beverlee Schnell, age 70, of Erie, passed away Saturday, November 5, 2022 at Fairview Manor. She was born in Erie, on October 16, 1952, a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Ann Szymanski Schnell.

Beverlee taught English at various parochial schools and worked at the Erie County Courthouse. She is known by her loved ones as a “free spirit” with a big heart and a contagious laugh. Throughout her life she enjoyed music, singing, writing and poetry. Beverlee’s other favorite past times include BINGO, board games, cooking, and bragging about her grandchildren.

She is survived by 3 daughters, Amy Werner (Rob) of Valencia, PA, Emily Schneider (Rick) of Erie and Katie Pierce (Mike) of Fairview, PA; a son, Benjamin Pastewka of Erie; 3 brothers, Joe Schnell (Colleen), Gary Schnell (Debbie) all of Erie and Jeff Schnell of Sarver, PA; and a sister, Brenda Schnell of Erie. 11 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews also survive.
