Barbara E. Payne, 87, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, April 15, 2021 listening to her favorite Hail Mary prayer.
She enjoyed walking with her dogs, tending her rose garden, drinking coffee, reading, cooking, and her church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur J. and Marguerite (Batchelor) Ruhling, and her husband, James Robert Payne.
She is survived by her children Susan, Jim, and Mary (Ken), grandchildren Finn and Shane, a sister, Ann, and a nephew, Michael. To the staff of Heartland Hospice, thank you.
