Obituary for Barbara Lewis (Hardner)
Barbara J. Hardner Lewis, 58, of Erie, died Friday, September 20, 2019 after a brief illness. She was born in Erie, PA on April 4, 1961.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond J. and Jane (Fischer) Hardner, her brother, Mark R. Hardner and his wife Janet, and her granddaughter, Keiarra Frye.
She is survived by her sons, Brian M. Allen of Erie and Adam M. Lewis of Centerville, VA, two grandchildren, Hailey and Austin Allen, her brother Gregory P. Hardner (Debbie), three nieces Kayla Quick, Valerie Bartlebaugh and Trisha Hardner all of Erie, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Barbara worked in the home health care field for many years taking care of so many Erie residents with a caring heart and a loving touch. She is a graduate of Strong Vincent High School, Class of 1980, and a parishioner of Saint Joseph's Church Bread of Life Community of Erie.
Friends may call on Wednesday at St. Joseph Church Bread of Life Community at 9 am until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10 am. The Kloecker Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. is handling the arrangements. Send condolences to www.kloeckerfuneralhome.com.
